Who can use visaball?

Anyone with an Android smartphone, preferably a newer model.  Support for Apple iPhones to be available Q3 2024

How much does it cost?

It's free for anyone to use.  In the future a pro version will be released, in addition to the free version.

How does someone use visaball?

The app is a camera app just like the camera app on your phone except it adds the ball path as you take the video.  When finished recording press the stop recording button and look in your gallery, it will be with all your other videos.

A tripod or selfie-stick with tripod is required, results will be best with a sturdy camera.  A 5 or 6 foot tripod height or taller for best results.

Are other sports supported?

At this time only tennis and pickleball are supported.  In the future it's possible support will be added for baseball, softball, basketball.

Does visaball work at all tennis courts and different lighting conditions?

Visaball works at most tennis courts and whether it's bright or dark outside.  A great effort was made to test the app in all different conditions and courts, although environments might not get good results.

Where to place the smartphone?

The best place to put the camera mounted on a tripod is in the shade.  Near the fence behind the baseline is recommended, it can also be place at either corner.  For best results place the camera with the sun behind the camera.  Never face the camera directly at the sun since the glare produces less than optimal results.
